As a beginner I struggled a lot in building a wordpress website. I knew few things about technology, but still setting up domain, hosting and other stuff was a nightmare for me. And moreover, buy them, set it up and practice building numerous website was a disaster.

Step 1:
Click the ‘+’ icon on the left hand bottom corner of your local dashboard. A screen will appear where you need to give your website name.
Step 2:
You can select custom if you want to use different versions of database, php or server.
Step 3:
Just give your username and password, and that’s it.
Your local wordpress website is created. Now you can log into it and start editing like you would do in a live website.
There are few tricks on uploading the website to the live server the most easiest way. I will be writing about it soon.
